Introduction
This course is designed to explore the meanings of contemporary art practices through the photographic process. Here we are going to keep track on our classes, collaborate, brainstorm and investigate ways of seeing and creating our work. This is an interactive class and I encourage you all to participate. Think about it as your lab!
I will respond to your needs as a group, therefor if I find it that changes and adjustments are needed I will make them accordingly, this site is meant to be a flexible space.
We will review theory, and processes of still photography as well as non-medium specific work. We will use digital camera and your mobile device, thumb drive, usb cable for your devices. Class will include discussions, presentations, assignments field trips, and artists visits.

- To build an awareness of meaning in your own work.
- To develop critical thinking in the context of your work and your peers work.
Assessment
Your performance in this course will be assessed based on:
- Your personal development, conceptually and creatively. Your ideas will be taken in careful consideration through out the class, and you will be asked to apply critical thinking. This class requires you to share conceptual questions regarding previous assignments, discussions or experiences.
- Creative and individual response to assignment guidelines and meeting the assignment criteria.
- The quality of your commitment and interpretation of the material learned.
- Promptness of delivered assignments. Any late assignments will result in a lower grade.
